Attorney James Barger

James “Jay” Barger was born on March 16, 1976, in Huntingdon, Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1998 and his law degree from the University of Tennessee in 2001.

In 2001, Mr. Barger was admitted to the Tennessee Bar. He specializes in divorce, child custody, wills and estates, personal injury and worker’s compensation.

Mr. Barger is currently a member of both the Rutherford County and Tennessee Bar Associations, and he teaches legal writing at Middle Tennessee State University. Jay is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Rutherford.
